Artic have been awarded a three year maintenance contract with Broomfield Hospital, part of the Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust which was established as an NHS Trust in 1992.

The Trust provides local elective and emergency services to 380,000 people living in and around the districts of Chelmsford, Maldon and Braintree (including Witham) and employs nearly 4,000 staff.

This contract provides maintenance to over 220 air conditioning units across the estate under a fully comprehensive contract.

The contract includes weekly attendance by one of the directly employed refrigeration engineers, 2 hour emergency response times and compliance to current F-Gas regulations.

This high-profile contract was secured through a formal tender process and despite the highly competitive pricing from all its competitors; Artic was awarded the contract due to its state-of-the-art CAFM system, its ability to self-deliver the work, and its proven technical experience and proactive approach.

Outcomes

Broomfield Hospital were looking for a supply partner that could work in a collaborative and proactive manner to ensure the estate remains fully compliant and benefits from the latest developments in technology, operations and service.

Artic were able to show that they excelled in all those areas and are looking forward to a long lasting relationship with Broomfield Hospital.

Artic will also be providing the added reassurance of a 24/7 help desk facility should the need arise with demanding 2 hour response.
