Healthcare Hard FM Win: London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Artic Building Services is delighted to announce a new healthcare facilities management (FM) win. Having secured a brand-new contract with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust, Artic will be covering a large multi-site portfolio, which includes a total of 62 individual sites spanning across London and its boarding counties.

What stood out about to London Ambulance Services was Artic’s extensive healthcare portfolio, showcasing the delivery of mechanical & electrical maintenance for healthcare buildings and NHS sites. With its extensive experience of supplying high-quality maintenance services in acute and critical NHS environments in line with the Health Technical Memoranda (HTM), Artic was decidedly the right hard FM company to oversee the London Ambulance Service sites. The contract, starting in April 2025, covers all heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) maintenance. Artic’s HTM trained engineers will reliably deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to all mechanical assets across every site, including the London Ambulance Service central office in the heart of Waterloo, London.

To meet the critical demands of an NHS contract, this large, multi-site partnership will be managed by an attentive contract manager and administrative team to ensure the efficient and reliable delivery of HVAC PPM services to all assets. The assets include a variety of AHU units which will be optimised to each unique space, in both performance and energy consumption, through regular maintenance across the healthcare sites.

Having provided essential HVAC services to healthcare buildings for over 25 years, Artic is confident in its ability to oversee the operational capacity of every site, making sure that the PPM services go beyond expectations and create a comfortable environment for all NHS staff. Through attentive and detail-orientated healthcare focused facilities management services, Artic will ensure the smooth-running daily operations of HVAC equipment for the London Ambulance Services.
